goodness i love dame helen mirren. she's a woman who acts her age, looks after herself, has had some hella fun times in her life and is stunning. not to mention she is uber-talented. as soon as i saw that she had a memoir coming out, complete with lots of amazing pictures, i knew i wanted it. just might have to be my one "splurge" of the month, i'm thinking, since i get an alloted amount of "blow money" in this new strict budget system. and yes, i think calling it blow money is weird, but it's nothing to do with sex or drugs, just money to blow.
anyway, i'm thinking, can i wait for christmas? should i try forgoing this little pressie to myself and save my dosh? and then, while watching/listening to the interview and slide show on the guardian bookshop site, i saw this picture grace my lappy's screen:
gah! this appears to be the lovely alan rickman and ms mirren in anthony and cleopatra. i think. oh who cares??? they both look gorgeous!! am going across the road at lunch to a cappella books to hopefully pick up this lovely piece of loveliness.
